It is a very wonderful time when your dog is about to give birth to those cute little puppies. However there can be alot of concern and worries. Many peoples have no idea on when and how the birth happen or take place. So if your are planning to breed your dog then make sure that you learn about different types of dog symptoms first.

Your dog will have the following signs of symptoms when in labor period.

First, Rectal temperature drop below 98 F usually less than 24 hours before giving birth to puppies. Use dog thermometer to get accurate temperature.

second, Loss of appetite. This can be early signs of warning that your dog will be in labor period soon.

Third, Finding a place to hide where they feel safe and comfortable. This is a natural reaction of most female dogs because they are trying to find a place that they can give birth to puppiesis to try and find a den or hideaway where they can give birth. A very common place is in the bathroom or under your bed.

Fourth, vomiting, having sickness and shivering. This is quiet normal and you can relief this problems by giving your dog fresh water when ever they want to drink.

Fifth, Your dog will follow your everywhere you go.

Remember that when dog is behaving strangely it mean that they are trying to tell you something so don’t forget to pay attention to them when this happen.

Dog pregnancy period is quiet short which is usually about 2 months so make sure that you are prepare to solve various problems when the time comes. The dog labor symptoms mentioned above are common and a good signs to tell you that they will give birth to puppies soon.
